About Us

We're Hannah and Medha, MIT Computer Science students and the co-founders of TrustAI. Before founding TrustAI, we taught students in classrooms across the US and globally in Bahrain, Peru, South and even North Korea. Across the board, we noticed a common struggle of students misusing AI and educators rushing to create restrictive policies to monitor usage and reclaim learning.

We see both sides of the AI misalignment in education as students and teachers. We built TrustAI as a bridging platform that encourages AI literacy and exploration while maintaining critical learning targets. We focus on a smooth transition for teachers and students by providing automated insight for grading and performance review. We work closely with schools, universities, and district leaders to design tools that reflect real classroom needs.

Company

TrustAI is building the next generation of responsible AI infrastructure for education. Backed by Y Combinator, the silicon valley accelerator behind companies like OpenAI, Cursor, Doordash, and Airbnb, we are looking to help educators and students navigate the rapid and unstructured rise of AI in education.

Our team includes past US olympiad team members, quants, professors, and students looking to make real change in the world.

Mission

We believe in a future of education that prepares students to be AI-native and changemakers. As AI becomes embedded in how students learn, restrictive policies alone are neither sustainable nor effective. Students and educators alike should learn how to use AI responsibly, provided with clear insight in the learning process and confident integrations without sacrificing critical thinking or trust.
